Guides
These guides are long-form reference pieces about India's independent music scene: who covers it, how coverage works, and the practical paths artists use to get heard. We update them when the facts change, and we keep the same standards as the rest of the magazine — primary sources, clear opinion labels, and public corrections when we get something wrong.
How we make these
Each guide starts from published Discography reporting and checked external sources. We do not sell placements inside a guide. When a guide lists Discography itself, we say so plainly. Article-length guides published in the magazine also appear in this list.
