Corrections
We correct mistakes quickly and openly. This page explains how to report an error, how we handle it, and what we will not change.
How to report an error
Send us the article link, the line that is wrong, and a source showing the correct information via our contact page.
What happens next
The editor reviews every request against the sources you send and the sources we used. If we agree the article is wrong, we fix it and note the change. If we disagree, we may reply with why.
How corrections appear
When we correct a factual error, we fix the article and add a dated note at the bottom explaining what changed. We do not silently edit factual errors.
Updates vs corrections
An update adds new information after publication. A correction fixes something that was wrong when published. Both are dated when they appear on the article. See also our editorial policy.
What we don't change
Changes to opinion are not corrections. We do not change a review because an artist or label disagrees with it.
Right of reply
If an article makes a serious claim about a person, we try to give them a chance to respond before publication, and we will consider adding a response after publication if they reach out.
