The early singles (2017–2019)

"I Will Wait" (December 2017) is her first release on Apple Music: an English-language song that introduces the voice before anything else.

"Natsukashii" (June 2018) takes its title from a Japanese word for fond nostalgia; it continues in the same quiet register.

"Shams" (January 2019) is the single that shows what her voice does best: patient, soulful and unhurried. If you hear one early song, make it this one. The Hindu profiled her that July.

2020: the breakout year

"Watercolour" (May 2020) is an acoustic duet with guitarist Dhruv Visvanath.

"Everything's Fine?" (June 2020) is the song that, per Wikipedia, put her on Spotify's global emerging-artist programme, RADAR, in July 2020. Spotify's newsroom profiled her at the time.

"Red" (October 2020) was her first international collaboration, with Malagasy singer-songwriter Niu Raza, alongside A.S.J. and Pranay Parti. Rolling Stone India covered its release.

Duets and collaborations (2021–2022)

From 2021 the catalogue becomes a run of partnerships. With Aman Sagar she released "Adhoore" and "Khoya Sa" (both 2021), "UDDCHALEIN" (2022) and later "ESWY" (2025). "Itne Pyaar Se (Thoda Darr Lagta Hai)" is with Tanmaya Bhatnagar. "Swimming" (March 2022) pairs her with Kamakshi Khanna, and "Out of Tune" (November 2022) with Prabhtoj Singh, who returns on "Stay" in 2025.

Start with: "Khoya Sa", then "Swimming".

Solo songwriting: X Marks The Spot to Could've Been

Between the duets she kept releasing her own songs. "X Marks The Spot" (July 2023), "Kaash" (January 2024), "Ratiyaan" (June 2024) and "Could've Been" (August 2025) are her solo singles of the period, moving between English and Hindi. "Could've Been" is the most recent and the best place to hear where her writing has got to.

Film and screen

She is credited on three Jawan (2023) soundtrack EPs with Anirudh Ravichander, and Wikipedia notes that Jawan was also her film debut as an actor, after the Netflix series Feels Like Ishq. She's also credited on the Chaari 111 theme (2024) with Simon K. King, on Shashaa Tirupati's "Like Sand We Flow" (2023), and on "Kaadhal Yaathiriye" (2026), released from Think Indie.

With Ankur Tewari (2025–26)

Her most recent run ties her to the Mumbai singer-songwriter scene. City Sessions, Vol. 2 (September 2025) is a six-track EP credited to Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Ankur Tewari, Adi Rao and Rono. "Daira" (April 2026) is a two-track single with Tewari. See Ankur Tewari songs for his side of the partnership.

The 2026 singles

After "Daira" came "Saza" with Sagar Verma (May), "Kaadhal Yaathiriye" with rudh and Thamizh Aadhavan (May, in Tamil) and "Phir Se" with Raag Sethi (September), her most recent release.

Where to start
