2. "Rock N' Roll" (2008, placeholder date). A loud, simple statement of what the band is about.
3. "Folk You" (2008, placeholder date). A funny title and a loose, groovy feel.

The Junkyard Groove sound
Junkyard Groove built their name on funk-rock: a busy bass line, chopped guitar chords and a singer who can shout and croon in the same song. Accidental Hero is the purest version of that sound. The later singles lean softer and more melodic, with acoustic guitars, slower tempos and guest singers, while songs like "Tax Man" keep the old funk bite. The band never stopped releasing music; from 2022 onwards Apple India lists a new single every few months, which makes them one of the most active long-running bands in Chennai.
