Anuv Jain writes small songs that end up very big. Most of his catalogue is a run of single tracks, usually just a voice and an acoustic guitar, and many of them have become wedding songs, break-up songs and late-night songs for a whole generation of Hindi listeners. He has never needed a full album to do it. This guide goes through every Anuv Jain song on Apple Music India in release order, from "Baarishein" to "Inaam", with notes on where to start.
How we checked. Every date below comes from Apple Music India (iTunes catalogue, country IN), checked on 28 October 2026. Apple lists each song as a single, so there is no Anuv Jain album to list yet. Where Apple shows a later reissue or acoustic version, we say so. We only cover songs that are already released.
Quick answer: the Anuv Jain songs to start with
- "Baarishein" – the song that made his name.
- "Gul" – the most loved of his quiet ballads.
- "Alag Aasmaan" – a long-distance love song, also out in an acoustic version.
- "Mishri" – short, sweet and very easy to love.
- "Meri Baaton Mein Tu" – his 2022 song about missing someone.
- "Husn" – the 2023 single that took him to a much wider audience.
- "Jo Tum Mere Ho" – his 2024 single.
Every Anuv Jain song, in release order
"Baarishein" (Apple date 9 June 2016). The breakout. A gentle song about rain and memory, sung so close to the microphone that it feels like a voice note. Apple's current single carries a 2023 copyright line, and a separate 2024 single appears under a licence to EarthPercent. Later there was also "Baarishein (Acoustic)" (14 July 2023). If you only play one Anuv Jain song, play this one.
"Ocean" (5 January 2018). One of his few English-language songs, and a nice reminder that he started as a bedroom singer-songwriter with no rules about language. Apple lists it twice as a single on the same date.
"Riha" (28 July 2019). A song about letting go, built from the same few chords and soft voice that would become his trademark. (Not to be confused with The Lost Symbols' song of the same name.)
"Maula" (3 April 2020). A prayer-like song released early in the 2020 lockdown, when many listeners were looking for calm music.
"Alag Aasmaan" (31 July 2020). "Different skies": two people living under different skies, still thinking of each other. It is one of his most played songs. "Alag Aasmaan (Acoustic)" followed on 19 November 2021.
"Mishri" (27 November 2020). A short, sugar-sweet love song. Mishri means rock sugar, and the song is about as gentle as the title suggests.
"Gul" (16 July 2021). For many fans this is the essential Anuv Jain song. It is slow, the guitar is very simple, and the words do all the work. Start here if "Baarishein" hooked you.
"Meri Baaton Mein Tu" (4 March 2022). A song about someone who is always in your conversations even when they are gone. Apple lists two versions of the single on the same day.
"Mazaak" (16 September 2022). A slightly lighter, wry song from 2022; it shows he can be playful too.
"Antariksh" (19 May 2023). "Outer space": a dreamier single, with a little more room around the voice.
"Husn" (1 December 2023). The song that broke out beyond his core fan base and became one of the most shared Hindi indie songs of its season. Still soft and acoustic, but the chorus is the biggest he has written.
"Jo Tum Mere Ho" (2 August 2024). "If you were mine": a 2024 single in the same quiet, devoted style as "Husn".
"Afsos" with AP Dhillon (31 January 2025). A collaboration that crosses his acoustic Hindi world with AP Dhillon's Punjabi pop. Apple's copyright line credits Anuv Jain and AP Dhillon's label.
"Arz Kiya Hai" – Coke Studio Bharat (20 August 2025). His Coke Studio Bharat song, released through Universal Music India. A good entry point for listeners who know him from television and YouTube.
"Inaam" (12 December 2025). His most recent single on Apple Music India at the time of writing. If you are coming back to him after a break, this is where his story is now.
Why Anuv Jain songs connect
Three things come up again and again. First, the voice: Jain sings softly, almost under his breath, and that makes the songs feel private. Second, the arrangements: guitar, voice and very little else, so the songs work as well on a phone speaker as on headphones. Third, the writing: simple Hindi and Urdu words about love, distance and memory, the kind of lines people put in captions and send to each other.
That simplicity is also why his songs get covered so often at open mics and college fests. If you are a singer, they are a good place to learn how much you can do with very little.
