Anuv Jain

Anuv Jain is a singer, songwriter and composer born in Ludhiana, Punjab, in 1995. He started writing songs at sixteen as a way to deal with his feelings, and lost his father the following year. His songs are built around simple chords, usually on acoustic guitar or ukulele with little or no percussion, and they deal mostly with love and heartbreak.

His singles began with Baarishein in 2018 and continued through Riha, Alag Aasmaan, Mishri, Gul, Mazaak and Meri Baaton Mein Tu. Wikipedia lists Baarishein, Alag Aasmaan, Gul, Husn and Jo Tum Mere Ho as his best-known songs. Husn (2023) and Jo Tum Mere Ho (2024) both reached number one on the all-genre charts of Apple Music India and Spotify India, and Husn was one of the most-streamed Indian songs of 2024. He also appeared on Coke Studio Bharat with Arz Kiya Hai in 2025. Forbes India named him to its 30 Under 30 list in 2023. In February 2025 he married his long-time partner, Hridi Narang.
