Hanumankind

Hanumankind is the stage name of Sooraj Cherukat, a rapper, singer, songwriter and actor from Kerala, born in 1992 in Kondotty in Malappuram district. The EP Surface Level followed in 2020, along with singles such as Genghis, Damnson and Go to Sleep. Big Dawgs, made with the Hyderabad producer Kalmi, became his breakthrough in 2024, reaching listeners well beyond India and later returning as a remix with the American rapper A$AP Rocky. Later releases include Run It Up and Monsoon Season in 2025, the latter credited to Capitol and Def Jam India, and See U in Hell, recorded for the Netflix series Devil May Cry, in 2026.
