On Fresh Finds India this week, Tera Naam looks like a trio. Spotify bills Arshiya Ganguly, Agaazz and Anuj B on one tile, three names in a row, the way a band would. Open the same song on Apple Music and the picture changes. Ganguly is credited with vocals. Agaazz is performer and producer. Anuj B is performer and songwriter. The ℗ line is hers alone: ℗ 2026 Arshiya Ganguly. At No. 14 on the playlist at our 4:30 AM IST check on 16 October 2026, fifty-four days after its 23 August release, the record is not a band. It is a credits page that happens to sit on a discovery tile.

Three names, three jobs
When we mapped Fresh Finds India billing in Indian indie collabs, the usual move was the producer stepping onto the tile beside the singer. Tera Naam does that, and then goes one step further: the songwriter is on the tile too. Apple Music is unusually clear about who did what. Ganguly sings. Agaazz produces and performs. Anuj B writes and performs. The three Spotify names are not a marketing fog. They are a job list.
That is the opposite of the pattern on emergency contact, sitting one place above this song at No. 13. There, three names share the Spotify tile while Apple credits one man as performer, composer, lyricist and producer. Here, three names share the tile and Apple gives each a job. If you care about how Indian indie records are actually made, the second model is the one worth celebrating. A playlist tile is a public claim. This one happens to be true.
The official video description, uploaded to Ganguly's YouTube channel on 12 September, lines up with Apple's map and adds two details Apple's song page does not: mix and master by The glue station, and flute by Nav. We take those as the artists' own credit sheet for the video, not as a contradiction of the store. Apple's language for Agaazz is Producer; the video calls him Music Composer. Apple's language for Anuj B is Songwriter; the video says Lyrics & Composition. The jobs are the same. The nouns shift slightly by platform. What does not shift is the order of names, or who holds the ℗.
How the three jobs sound
Tera Naam runs 4:10, the same length as emergency contact and one of the longer records in Fresh Finds India's upper half. Length alone does not prove anything, but on a discovery playlist it is a choice. The median song on the list, as we measured in How Fresh Is Fresh Finds India?, is weeks older than this one and usually shorter. Four minutes is room for a voice to sit, for a production bed to settle, and for a lyric to arrive without rushing the listener toward the next skip.
You can hear the split of labour without reading the credits. The vocal is the centre of the record: a Hindi pop delivery that carries the title and the emotional claim. That is Ganguly's job, and it is the one the ear locks onto first. Under it, the production is patient rather than flashy — pads, a measured pulse, space left for the voice — which is what a producer credit should sound like when it is doing its work instead of competing with the singer. Anuj B's writing is the frame: a devotion song built around a name, the kind of Indian indie single that lives or dies on whether the chorus feels inevitable. We are not quoting lines here. The title is already the argument.
Ganguly's earlier Apple Music catalogue under her own name is mostly solo-billed: Softly, Mahiya Kinna Sohna, Saiyyan (Cover), Raanjhnaa. Tera Naam is the first of her singles to put two other names on the tile. Agaazz and Anuj B, by contrast, already have a working history together. Apple Music lists them jointly on Khayal (with Zartasha Zainab, August 2024), Hausla (September 2024), Just Memories (with Saurav Pardal, July 2025) and Tere Naal Nachna (with Swagy, November 2025). That trail matters. It suggests this is not a random three-way billing. It is a songwriter–producer pair bringing a singer into a method they already share. The tile is new for Ganguly. The partnership behind it is not new for Agaazz and Anuj B.
Who holds the ℗
The ownership line is the part of the story playlists almost never show. Apple Music prints ℗ 2026 Arshiya Ganguly on the single. The singer, not the producer, not the songwriter, holds the phonographic copyright claim. As we have argued elsewhere on this site, a ℗ line is a public claim, not a contract we can read. Still, it is the claim that sits on the store page next to the credits, and here it is unambiguous.
That combination — three jobs on the tile, one name on the ℗ — is the healthiest version of indie collaboration we have seen on Fresh Finds India this week. The labour is shared and named. The master claim stays with the artist whose voice carries the record. Compare that with records where a label or a film imprint appears on the ℗ while the singers share only the tile, or with emergency contact, where the ℗ and every writing credit collapse onto one person while two others still share the Spotify art. Tera Naam keeps the credits honest and the ownership clear. That is rarer than a good chorus.
Fifty-four days on the list
Tera Naam came out on 23 August 2026. At our 4:30 AM IST snapshot on 16 October it sat at No. 14 on Fresh Finds India, between emergency contact and Afreen, and it was absent from Rock in India. Fifty-four days is younger than the playlist's median age in our Fresh Finds freshness column, and older than the brand-new arrivals that still dominate the top five. It has had time to settle without being the oldest face in the room. Bloom and Seedhi Saadhi show how different Fresh Finds India lives can look: one a rock single holding high, one a brand-new collab riding the top. Tera Naam is the quieter case — a mid-list Hindi single whose billing is more interesting than its chart drama.
The neighbour at No. 13 is not coincidence for this review. emergency contact and Tera Naam are the same length, sit one place apart, and ask the same question of the listener: what do three names on a tile mean? On one song, almost nothing beyond a rhythm section the credits refuse to name. On the other, three jobs you can map and hear. Fresh Finds India did not design that contrast. We are using it.
What this publication thinks
Tera Naam is a solid Hindi indie single with a clear centre of vocal gravity and a production that knows when to stay out of the way. We like it more for how it is credited than for any claim that it reinvents the form. The devotion-song template is familiar; the execution is clean; the flute colour on the official video is a welcome texture Apple's song page does not advertise. What makes the record worth a desk review at No. 14 is the honesty of the tile.
Indian independent music does not need more mystery billing. It needs more pages that look like this one: singer, producer and songwriter each named, each given a job, and the ℗ left with the artist who sings. Khatt showed how a solo tile can still hide a full studio team in the fine print. Mohana showed how a multi-name tile can mean a real ensemble. Tera Naam sits between them and does the simple thing well. Three jobs. One tile. The singer still holds the master claim. That is the review.
