Who is Ritviz
Ritviz Srivastava is a singer, songwriter and electronic producer who was born in Darbhanga, Bihar, and grew up in Pune. According to Wikipedia, he began learning music at eight, trained in the Dhrupad style of Hindustani classical music under Uday Bhawalkar, and wrote his first song at 11. Rolling Stone India notes that his mother, the Hindustani classical singer Anvita Bharti, taught him music as a child.
That mix of classical training and bedroom electronic production is the thread through every song below. He releases his music himself: the Apple Music listings for his EPs, his album Mimmi and his recent singles all carry a copyright line in his own name, and Rolling Stone India calls him one of India's most-streamed independent artists. If you want the wider context, our guide to Indian electronic music producers places him among his peers.
