Prateek Kuhad is the Jaipur-born, Delhi-based singer-songwriter whose quiet English and Hindi love songs made him one of the best-known artists in Indian independent music. He started out self-releasing, then signed to Elektra in the US, and moved to Atlantic for his 2026 album. Through all of it his catalogue stayed compact: three full-length albums, a handful of EPs, and a long trail of singles.

This guide covers the albums and EPs. Every date, track count, tracklist and ℗ line below comes from Apple Music India, checked on 28 October 2026. For his full profile, see the Prateek Kuhad artist page.

The early releases (2011–2013)

Prateek Kuhad (2011)

His first release on Apple is a three-track self-titled single dated 15 July 2011, on Pagal Haina Records: "Something Wrong", "Rubber Bits" and "A Shot of Alcohol". Apple files it under Rock. It's a curiosity more than a starting point, but it's where the catalogue begins.

Raat Raazi – EP (2013)

Kuhad's Hindi EP, self-released (℗ Prateek Kuhad), with five songs: "Ab Hoga Kya", "Raat Raazi", "Chahe Ya Na Chahe", "Voh" and "Yeh Pal". It set up the pattern he's followed ever since, keeping his Hindi songs and English songs on separate records. If you know him only from the English singles, start here.

In Tokens & Charms (2015)

His full-length debut, again self-released. Ten songs: "Oh Love", "Holding On", "Flames", "Into the Night", "Go", "Fire", "Held You Tight", "Be At Ease", "Cold Shoulders" and "Artist". It's a gentle, mostly acoustic English record, and the songs built the following he'd later tour on.

A Deluxe Edition (℗ 2017, but listed under the same 21 January 2015 date) adds four tracks: "Tonight", "Big Surprise", "Just to Be With You" and a piano version of "Flames".

The live and Hindi detours (2016–2021)

Between his two full-length albums, Kuhad mostly released singles: "Tune Kaha" (2016), "Tum Jab Paas" (2017), "Pause" and "Kasoor" (2020), and the Dewarists collaboration "Dil Beparvah" with Ankur Tewari (2016). He also contributed to the Karwaan soundtrack (2018). The longer releases from this stretch are below.

Prateek Kuhad (Audiotree Live) – EP (2018)

Recorded for the Chicago-based Audiotree live series: "Did You / Fall Apart", "For Your Time", "With You / For You", "Drown" and "Cold / Mess". It's an early look at the songs that would make up his first Elektra release.

cold/mess – EP (2020)

His first release under the Elektra licence, and the record that took him international. Seven tracks: "with you/for you", "did you/fall apart", "cold/mess", "for your time", "fighter", "100 words" and an edit of "cold/mess". Several of the songs had been released earlier as singles and in live versions. This EP collects them into the form most new listeners find first.

Shehron Ke Raaz – EP (2021)

Four Hindi songs on Elektra: "Shehron Ke Raaz", "Khone Do", "Tere Hi Hum" and an acoustic "Kasoor". It's the Hindi counterpart to cold/mess, and the natural follow-on from Raat Raazi.

The Way That Lovers Do (2022)

His second album and first full-length on Elektra. Eleven songs: "All I Need", "Hollow", "Favorite Peeps", "Co2", "Face", "Just A Word", "Drown", "The Last Time", "Heartbroken", "Bloom" and "Full Time Lover". "Co2" later got an acoustic single version (November 2023).

The Deluxe edition runs to 19 tracks. It adds "Hopelessly", "I Never Knew", "Bloom" featuring Raveena, and acoustic versions of five album songs.

Mulaqat – EP (2023)

His third Hindi EP, released 28 November 2023 on Elektra Entertainment: "Mulaqat", "O Piya", "Kuch Din", "Hum Dono" and "Janeman". The title track and "O Piya" both came out first as singles, in October 2023. Taken together, Raat Raazi, Shehron Ke Raaz and Mulaqat make a decade-long Hindi songbook that runs alongside the English albums.

Full Moon Chamber (2026)

His third album, and his first on Atlantic Records, released 10 July 2026. Fourteen tracks:

  1. a poetic concept
  2. Blush
  3. No Complaints (Album Version)
  4. If I Cannot Be Yours
  5. Something In The Way
  6. Come Home To Me
  7. lunar interlude
  8. Oh Camille
  9. Just Like A Movie (Album Version)
  10. Under The Stars
  11. You Make It Easy
  12. Found You In May
  13. I'm Someone New (Album Version)
  14. moonlight serenade

Three of those songs came out as singles in 2024: "No Complaints" (24 January), "Just Like A Movie" (29 March) and "I'm Someone New" (28 June). They appear here in album versions. The three lowercase titles ("a poetic concept", "lunar interlude", "moonlight serenade") hold the record together as a sequence. We list it among the best Indian indie albums of 2026 so far.

Where to start

  • New to him: cold/mess, the shortest route to the songs that made his name.
  • Hindi songs: Raat Raazi, then Shehron Ke Raaz and Mulaqat.
  • A full album: The Way That Lovers Do. Or Full Moon Chamber, if you want the newest.
  • Completists: the In Tokens & Charms Deluxe Edition and the Audiotree Live EP.
