The early songs: Behosh EP and Khufiya Dastaan (2012–2013)

"Behosh" feat. Jerome Mascarenhas (12 July 2012). The title song of the first EP and still one of the band's signature tracks: a slow groove that keeps rising. The EP's album date on Apple is June 2013, but its five songs are dated 12 July 2012.

"Marika" (12 July 2012). A short, sharper rock song from the same EP. "Itne Arsay Ke Baad.", "Dil Khush" (feat. Neil Simon Abel) and "Lolmatlai" complete the set.

"Khufiya Dastaan" (16 February 2013). A stand-alone single, moody and patient, that pointed toward the sound of Baran.

Baran (2014)

The band's debut album is where most fans start. Seven of its eight songs are dated 21 August 2014 and "Beparwah" 22 August.

"Beparwah". The opening track and the band's best-known song: a slow-burning Hindustani rock song with a long, psychedelic finish.

"Baran". The title track, built on a heavy, looping riff and Khalid Ahamed's plaintive vocals.

"Ab Ki Yeh Subah". One of the gentlest Parvaaz songs, warm and hopeful.

"Gul Gulshan". A bluesy song with Kashmiri imagery, very much a live favourite.

"Ziyankar". The closer, heavy and slow. "Roz Roz", "Ghaib" and "Fitnah" round out the album.

The 2017 singles

"Shaad" (3 April 2017). A bright, driving single released between albums.

"Color White" (29 May 2017). A more spacious song that shows the band's softer side.

Kun (2019)

Kun is the band's second album, with nine songs dated 17 and 18 October 2019. It is darker and more layered than Baran. See our Parvaaz band page for the story behind it.

"Kun". The title track opens the record with a long, hypnotic build.

"Mushq-E-Gul". One of the most melodic songs the band have recorded.

"Katyi Rov" (17 October 2019). A Kashmiri-titled song, and one of the album's emotional high points.

"Dasht-Ba-Dasht". The closing track, sprawling and heavy.

"Soye Ja.". A lullaby-like song in the middle of the record. "Harf", "Shabaan", "Zindaano" and "Mastaan" complete the album.

"Zubaan (Equals Sessions)" with Gazi Khan (12 July 2019). A live-session collaboration with the Rajasthani folk musician, released three months before Kun. See Rajasthani folk singers.

Lost (2023)

"Lost" (26 December 2023). A one-off single that kept the band's name active between albums.

Na Gul Na Gulistan (2025)

The third album arrived on 5 December 2025 with eight songs. Two came out first as singles. We reviewed the record in full: Parvaaz – Na Gul Na Gulistan review.

"Kauaʻi ʻōʻō" (5 November 2025). The first single, named after a Hawaiian bird that is now extinct: a song about loss and silence.

"Na Gul Na Gulistan" (20 November 2025). The title song and second single; its title is an Urdu phrase, roughly "neither flower nor garden".

"Zor-o-Zar" (5 December 2025). A standout from the album's second half. "Hu", "Talafi", "Dogma", "Faani" and "Khwab Gah" complete the record.

Collaboration
