Komorebi is the project of Tarana Marwah, an electronic-pop artist and producer. Her songs are built from her own voice, synths and programmed beats, and some of the melodies take after Japanese pop. The name is a Japanese word for sunlight coming through the leaves of trees. Over almost ten years she has put out a debut album, a remix album, two EPs and a second album, The Fall. She has also become a regular in Indian film and series scoring through her work with Gaurav Raina.

This guide covers the catalogue in order. Titles, dates, track counts and tracklists come from Apple Music India (artist id 1476108272), checked on 28 October 2026. Search for "Komorebi" and you'll find several unrelated artists with the same name, including a 2018 self-titled EP by a different act. Only releases under the id above are listed here. Soliloquy (2017)

Komorebi's debut album had eight tracks. Some songs bring in guests from Indian independent music: Blackstratblues (Warren Mendonsa) plays on the opener, and bassist Mohini Dey appears on two tracks.

  1. Little One (feat. Blackstratblues)
  2. Time (feat. Sohrab Nicholson)
  3. Candyland
  4. Free
  5. Hide
  6. Hurricane (feat. Mohini Dey)
  7. It's Real (feat. Mohini Dey)
  8. Shallow

The tracks are long. Most run past five minutes, and "Time" and "Hide" both go over six and a half. "Time" also came out as a single in September 2017, a few weeks before the album.

Rebirth, Green Tea and Ninshiki (2020)

In 2020 she put out a lot of music. "Green Tea", recorded with the producer Curtain Blue, came out in January as a four-track EP: the original plus remixes by GRAIN, Jitter and MALFNKTION. In March came "Rebirth", a new single, followed through the year by remix singles from Jayeoex, Amlan and Change Request.

In August all of that came together on Ninshiki, a nine-track remix album. It reworks songs from Soliloquy and "Rebirth":

  1. Free (Amlan Remix)
  2. Little One (Reeves Remix)
  3. Rebirth (Synthbwoy Remix)
  4. Hide (Ysp Remix)
  5. Little One (Nishu Remix)
  6. Rebirth (Raia Institute Remix)
  7. Rebirth (Jayeoex Remix)
  8. Rebirth (Rekrfx Remix)
  9. Rebirth (Psychonaut Remix)

Chanda (2021–22)

"Chanda" came out as a single in July 2021. A Sagar Tamore remix followed in March 2022. In September 2022 the label Kósa released a six-track Chanda package: the original plus remixes by Dandara, AmuAmu, Ykonosh, Nada and Max Seeger.

Birds and Bees (2022)

This four-track EP has two songs and a remix of each. Most new listeners should start here.

  1. Birds and Bees (feat. Curtin Blue)
  2. I'll Be Your Someone
  3. Birds and Bees (feat. Curtin Blue) [Oaff Remix]
  4. I'll Be Your Someone (Okedo Remix)

The feature credit is spelled "Curtin Blue" on Apple. We've kept that spelling here. It is the same Curtain Blue from "Green Tea".

The Fall (2023)

The Fall is her second album. It has seven tracks, and Blackstratblues plays on three of them. Two of the songs were released as singles before the album: "I Grew Up" in July 2023 and "Watch Out" in August 2023.

  1. I Grew Up (feat. Blackstratblues)
  2. Watch Out (feat. Blackstratblues, Easy Wanderlings & Dhruv Visvanath)
  3. The Fall
  4. Silent War
  5. Tangled And Familiar (feat. Blackstratblues)
  6. All The Things
  7. Better Not Bitter (feat. Sahil Vasudeva)

"Watch Out" has the biggest guest list on the album: Blackstratblues, the band Easy Wanderlings and guitarist Dhruv Visvanath. The title track runs to almost five and a half minutes. In July 2025 it was released again as a live single, "The Fall (Live at the Warehouse)".

The Fall (Remixed) (2024)

In mid-2024 she put out remix singles of The Fall by Midival Punditz, Blot! and Karsh Kale. All three ended up on a ten-track remix album released on 12 July 2024:

  1. The Fall (Midival Punditz Remix)
  2. I Grew Up (Sublime Sound Remix)
  3. The Fall (Blot! Remix)
  4. Watch Out (Karsh Kale Remix)
  5. I Grew Up (Jay Pei Remix)
  6. Tangled And Familiar (Film Remix)
  7. Watch Out (Blackstratblues Remix)
  8. Tangled And Familiar (Aman Baibhaw Remix)
  9. Tangled And Familiar (Abhigyan Remix)
  10. The Fall (Killzen Remix)
