Smokey the Ghost is the stage name of Sumukh Mysore, a Bengaluru hip-hop artist. Rolling Stone India’s September 2019 interview calls him a long-time emcee whose debut album The Human Form, made with electronica duo Aerate Sound (Joe Panicker and Naquash), treats the whole record as protest: industry politics, war, religion, and public life, with his mother described as a muse for the album’s values. The piece dates a Boiler Room Bengaluru set and a Magnetic Fields appearance with Aerate Sound to 2017 and notes mastering involvement from London engineer John Davis and Mumbai producer Sahir Nawab.

GQ India’s profile adds an earlier biography that Discography can check against that later album story: Mysore has said basketball video-game soundtracks, including NBA Live 08 in 2007, were an early route into East Coast rap, that Orkut text battles led him to record, and that he joined Brodha V and Bigg Nikk in the South Indian crew Machas With Attitude before later solo work. GQ places 2018’s Her Name Is ? and The Human Form on that solo path. Discography records those titles without turning interview color into chart ranks.

The locked Apple Music URL for artist id 458804826 is the enrich target. The Wave 3 Apple-id note lists The HUMAN FORM and Hip Hop Is Indian as catalog proof for this exact name. Release rows should come from that id. This intro does not paste an unverified tracklist for every later single, and it does not invent AggregateRating.

Smokey the Ghost is filed as a solo artist, so members[] stays empty even when Aerate Sound or Machas With Attitude appear in the prose as collaborators and an earlier crew. Use slug smokey-the-ghost when he is the primary subject. Festival bills and feature credits stay mention-only under single-select taxonomy unless an editor explicitly retags them.

Wave 3 ships no hero cover. Human intro text remains authoritative when enrich prepends album titles. Sources list Rolling Stone India, GQ India, and the locked Apple artist page. Self-links on discography.in are not sameAs.

Operationally, Discography keeps this Bengaluru hip-hop facet on id 458804826 alone. Name-adjacent accounts are not merged. Empty Wave 3 cover art is intentional: indexability depends on intro length plus enrich, not on an unlicensed portrait. Editors arriving from The Human Form press should land on this slug and should not retag multi-artist Boiler Room roundups onto it unless the piece is primarily his.
