Nikhil D'Souza

Nikhil D'Souza is an Indian singer and songwriter whose Apple Music catalog under locked id 1360012794 is preferred for Wave 2 over thinner alternate Nikhil D Souza ids listed in skip guards. He is widely associated with the 2019 T-Series single Vaaste—composed by Tanishk Bagchi with lyrics by Arafat Mehmood, performed with Dhvani Bhanushali—which Wikipedia documents as a major YouTube-era Hindi pop hit featured in YouTube Rewind 2019.

Independent and collaborative singer-songwriter rows such as Simple Kind of Love–era material and later collabs (for example Shades of Grey with Raghav Meattle and Rajan Batra on Apple) show a dual path: high-visibility Hindi pop features beside softer acoustic writing. Discography records titled credits without inventing streaming ranks as AggregateRating.

Because a full personal Wikipedia biography was thinner than the Vaaste article at research time, biography claims stay song- and storefront-tight. Wave 2 leaves hero covers empty and refuses wrong-id merges (1781391925, 1502817438, 1616535841, 571729522 and similar).

Editors should credit nikhil-d-souza when he is the primary subject. Multi-artist T-Series roundups that only list Vaaste singers should not be force-retagged under single-select rules.

Enrich uses only the locked Apple URL. Human intro text is not overwritten by prepended collection rows. No Wave 2 cover upload ships with create.

Operationally, Discography treats Nikhil D'Souza as a solo pop/singer-songwriter facet. Sources cite Vaaste’s Wikipedia page and the locked Apple artist URL. Intro word count plus enrich completeness drive artists.xml inclusion—not invented discography.

Hindi pop’s YouTube decade minted several singers through one massive T-Series single; Nikhil D'Souza’s Vaaste credit is the high-visibility proof, while Simple Kind of Love–era and acoustic collabs show the singer-songwriter side Discography also cares about. Locked Apple id 1360012794 is preferred over thin/alt Nikhil ids in Wave 2 skips. This page invents no streaming ranks as AggregateRating, ships no cover upload, and keeps single-select discipline for Vaaste multi-artist mentions. Enrich attaches titled rows from the locked storefront only. Human intro text stays authoritative. Intro word count meets Wave 1-style ≥300 gate for artists.xml inclusion.
