Midival Punditz

Midival Punditz (also styled MIDIval Punditz / MIDIval PunditZ) are a New Delhi electronica duo of Gaurav Raina and Tapan Raj, among the first Indian electronic acts signed internationally to Six Degrees Records. Wikipedia lists albums including the self-titled debut (2002), MIDIval Times (2005), Hello Hello (2009), Light (2015), and later Love And Machines (2026), plus EPs such as Rootha Yaar, Nukhta, and Purvayi (2019) featuring collaborators like Kutle Khan and Papon.

Their blend of electronica with flute, tabla, and South Asian melodic material appeared across film and compilation licensing (Monsoon Wedding, Chak De! India, Gully Boy among cited titles). Apple Music Electronic id 2456416 is locked for enrich.

Members[] lists both producers as current. Wave 2 leaves hero covers empty. Discography does not invent AggregateRating from Amazon editorial picks mentioned in older bios.

Use slug midival-punditz when the duo is primary. Solo Raina/Raj projects should use separate credits when those are the primary subject under single-select rules.

Human intro text is not overwritten by enrich. Sources cite Wikipedia and Apple. ExtraSameAs stays empty unless official URLs are verified in-wave.

Operationally, Discography treats Midival Punditz as an active Delhi electronic duo with verified members, Apple enrich, empty Wave 2 cover art, and intro word count supporting artists.xml inclusion.

Delhi electronica’s Six Degrees era still shapes how Indian electronic acts think about international labels; Midival Punditz’s Raina/Raj duo, Hello Hello through Light album run, and 2019 folk-collab EPs are encyclopedia-documented. Apple id 2456416 is locked. Members[] lists both producers. Wave 2 uploads no hero cover. Film licensing mentions from Wikipedia are context, not a license to invent soundtrack charts. Single-select taxonomy keeps the duo facet separate from solo projects. Human intro text remains authoritative. Intro word count meets ≥300 after paragraphsToIntroHtml conversion.

From Fabric London dates to Blue Frog Mumbai lore cited in older bios, the duo’s international club footprint is part of why electronic listeners still search Midival Punditz by name; this hub answers with locked Apple id 2456416, two verified members, empty Wave 2 covers, and no invented AggregateRating.
