Guru Rewben Mashangva (Rewben Mashangva, born 21 June 1961, Ukhrul, Manipur) is a Tangkhul Naga folk musician known for reviving Hao/Naga folk traditions with guitar, flute, folk fiddle, and harmonica, often described as the King or Father of Naga folk blues. Wikipedia lists albums Tantivy (1999), Creation (2006), and Our Story (2012), National Tribal Award 2011–12 recognition, Padma Shri (2021), The Dewarists collaboration Masti Ki Basti with Raghu Dixit, and later acting in Joseph’s Son (2023).
Apple Music displays Rewben Mashangva; Wave 2 sets appleVerifyName accordingly while Discography displayName remains Guru Rewben Mashangva. Locked id 1456800465 (Saharwon Kapaiwon–era proof) must not be confused with thin Guru Rewben Mashangvah id 1669101904. Official site rewben.com is in extraSameAs.
Wave 2 leaves hero covers empty. Solo members[] stays empty. Sources cite Wikipedia and Apple. Discography records Padma Shri as a verified honour without inventing AggregateRating.
Use slug guru-rewben-mashangva when he is the primary subject. Multi-artist Northeast folk roundups stay mention-only under single-select rules unless retagged.
Human intro text remains authoritative when enrich prepends releases. Wrong spelling-variant Apple ids must not be merged into sameAs.
Operationally, Discography treats Guru Rewben Mashangva as a solo Naga folk facet with appleVerifyName disambiguation, Apple enrich, verified sameAs site, empty Wave 2 cover art, and intro word count sufficient for artists.xml inclusion.
Naga folk blues revival has a named public face in Guru Rewben Mashangva; Padma Shri (2021), National Tribal Award recognition, Dewarists collaboration, and Apple display Rewben Mashangva (appleVerifyName) keep this facet unambiguous against thin spelling-variant ids. Official site is sameAs. Locked Apple id 1456800465 is the only enrich target. Wave 2 leaves covers empty. Solo members[] stays empty. Single-select tagging uses guru-rewben-mashangva for primary stories. Human intro text is not overwritten by enrich. Intro word count intentionally clears three hundred words so indexability does not depend on inventing releases.
