Lucky Ali is the voice behind some of the best-loved Indian pop songs ever made: "O Sanam", "Ek Pal Ka Jeena", "Na Tum Jano Na Hum", "Kitni Haseen Zindagi". But beyond the film hits he has a body of his own albums, from Sunoh in 1996 to Subah Ke Taare in 2024. This guide lists every Lucky Ali album on Apple Music India, in order, with track counts, dates and the songs to start with.

How we checked. All dates and track counts come from Apple Music India (iTunes catalogue, country IN), checked on 28 October 2026. We include his own albums only. Film soundtracks he sang on (such as Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai or Kaante), remix singles and one-off film songs are left out. Only released music is covered. For a song-by-song guide, see our Lucky Ali songs page.

The albums, in order

Sunoh (1996, 10 tracks). The debut that made him a star. It opens with "O Sanam", whose video with its desert setting became one of the defining images of 1990s Indipop, followed by the title track "Sunoh". The rest of the album: "Pyar Ka Musafir", "Aap Par Arz Hai", "Milegi Milegi Manzil", "Tum Hi Se", "Yeh Zameen Hai, Aasmaan Hai", "Jab Hum Chhote The", "Kya Mausam Hai" and "Yeh Mumbai Nagariya". The sound is soft rock and pop, with his famously relaxed, husky voice up front. Start with: "O Sanam".

Sifar (December 1998, 10 tracks). The second album is many fans' favourite. "Teri Yaadein" opens it, and "Dekha Hai Aise Bhi" became one of his best-known songs. Also here: "Mil Jaan Se Kabhi", "Dil Aise Na Samajhna", "Nahi Rakhta Dil Mein Kuch", "Tum Ho Wohi", "Jheel Pe Jaise", "Mausam", "Baadalon Ki Gehraaee" and "Suntey Hi Rehtey Hain". It is a warmer, more mellow record than Sunoh. Start with: "Dekha Hai Aise Bhi".

Aks (September 2000, 10 tracks). Released the year "Ek Pal Ka Jeena" (from the film Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai) made him a household name. Aks has "Kitni Haseen Zindagi", one of his most-loved non-film songs, plus "Tere Mere Saath", "Kaisi Tanhai", "Behti Nadi", "Mehboob", "Aks", "Tu Kaun Hai", "Ek Na Ek Din" and "Sandesh". Apple lists ten tracks; nine are visible in the India catalogue. Start with: "Kitni Haseen Zindagi".

Kabhi Aisa Lagta Hai (June 2004, 8 tracks). Credited to Lucky Ali and Asif Ali on Apple, released by T-Series. The title song appears twice, alongside "Teri Yaad Jab Aati Hai", "Jabse Mili Tumse", "Tanhaai Mein Basi", "Ek Pal Mein Hai", "Ye Dil Deewana Hai" and "Thappa Thappi Chuppa Chuppi". Start with: "Kabhi Aisa Lagta Hai".

Lucky Ali (2010, 11 tracks). A self-titled album on Sound Master, dated 1 January 2010. Its songs are "Aase Pase", "Chooriyan", two versions of "Confusion", "I Love You", "Kapre", "Maya Maya", "Paas Paas", "Ranjha", "Seena" and "Zakhm". It is the least-known record here and worth a look for fans who know only the hits.

Gori Teri Aankhen (Apple date 30 January 2019, 8 tracks). Credited to Lucky Ali and Sajid Ali, on Zee Music Company. The title song, "Gori Teri Aankhen", is one of his classics (our songs guide dates it to 2001); Apple carries this edition with a 2019 date. The other songs are "Duniya Choomegi Tere", "Chali Chali", "Aaye Jabse", "Dekho Yeh Jo", "Kuch Aisa Ho Who", "Aji Zara Baat" and "Dum Dum Diga Diga". Start with: the title track.

Subah Ke Taare (January 2024, 8 tracks). A late-career album made with producer Mikey McCleary. Two songs came out first as singles and keep their earlier dates on Apple: "Intezaar" (6 April 2022) and "Mohabbat Zindagi" (27 July 2022); "sayyāh" is dated 15 June 2023. The other five, including "Dil Gaye Ja", "Rehne de", "Khudahafiz", "Duniya ke Samandar" and the title track "Subha ke Taare", are dated 31 January 2024. It is gentle, acoustic and very much his voice. Start with: "Intezaar".

The compilation

O Sanam (Greatest Hits: Lucky Ali) (20 November 2020, 15 tracks) collects songs from Sunoh, Sifar and Aks, including "O Sanam", "Dekha Hai Aise Bhi", "Tere Mere Saath", "Teri Yaadein" and "Kitni Haseen Zindagi". It is the easiest single place to hear the 1990s Lucky Ali, but it adds no new songs.

What is left out

  • Xsuie (2009) and Raasta Man (2011). Both are listed as Lucky Ali studio albums in other sources, but neither shows up as an album in Apple Music India's catalogue, so we do not date them here.
  • Film soundtracks, even where he sings key songs.
  • Remix and lo-fi singles, such as the many new versions of "Na Tum Jano Na Hum" and "Ek Pal Ka Jeena" released in 2024–2026.
  • Single releases such as "Tu Jaane Hai Kahan" (2 February 2026) and "No Limits" (29 April 2026), and film songs like "Tu Hai Kahaan" (2024, with The Local Train) and "Muskura Do" (2026).
