Aswekeepsearching started out as an instrumental post-rock band from Ahmedabad and slowly became something warmer: a band that adds voices and Hindi lyrics to big, glowing guitars. Over more than a decade they have released six studio albums, plus a film soundtrack and a handful of singles. This guide lists every aswekeepsearching album on Apple Music India, in order, with track counts, dates and where to start.

How we checked. All dates and track counts come from Apple Music India (iTunes catalogue, country IN), checked on 28 October 2026. Apple sometimes shows a song with the date it first came out as a single, so we note where an album's songs carry an earlier date. Only released music is covered. For the band's story and members, see our aswekeepsearching band page.

The albums, in order

Growing Suspicions (February 2014, 8 tracks). The debut. It opens with "The Tattva", which Apple dates 13 December 2013 because it came out first; the rest is dated 14 February 2014. "In Circles", "Shimmer of Light", "When Will They Talk?", "Banshee" and "Aakorxon" follow, and the album closes with Leroi mixes of "The Tattva" and "Aakorxon". This is the most purely instrumental, post-rock record they made: long builds, chiming guitars and loud release. Start with: "The Tattva".

Khwaab (October 2015, 11 tracks). The second album reworks a few songs from the debut ("In Circles", "When Will They Talk?" and "Banshee") alongside new ones. "Ativa", "We Sound Like Strangers", "Other Side", "Catalogues", "What If _?", "Life = Parallels", "The Moment" and "B-303" fill it out. It is a fuller, more polished record than the debut. Start with: "Ativa".

Zia (April 2017, 11 tracks). Here the band begin to soften and add more voice. "And Then Came Spring" opens the album, followed by "Sleep / / Awake", "Uns", "There You Are", "Reminiscence" and "Kalga". The second half has "A New Solace", "Hope Unfolds", "Lights & Colors", "Sometime Somewhere" and "Ascend". "Kalga" is a quiet favourite and later turned up again on the Footage soundtrack. Start with: "Kalga".

Rooh (September 2019, 8 tracks). For many listeners this is the one. All eight songs are dated 27 September 2019: "Chasing Light", "Green and Blue", "Aas Paas", "Eneke Najaaba", "Rooh", "A Night in Zottegem", "Aitbaar" and "Gangtey". The singing is warmer and closer, and the songs are shorter and more song-like. Earlier in 2019 the band also put out a remastered single of "The Tattva" (24 May 2019). Start with: "Aas Paas", then "Rooh".

Sleep (April 2020, 8 tracks). A gentle, late-night album released in April 2020. "Glued" and "11 Degrees" open it, then "Dreams Are Real", "Sleep Now", "How Am I Supposed to Know", "Let Us Try", "Maybe There" and "Sleep Again". Three songs feature Ajay Jayanthi. It is the band's most ambient record and works well as one long listen. Start with: "Glued".

kyun? (July 2025, 10 tracks). The first new album in five years. Three songs came out as singles first, and Apple keeps those earlier dates: "you left something" (30 May 2025), "the search" (13 June 2025) and "i'm here, with you!" (27 June 2025). The other seven are dated 11 July 2025: "why?", "into the mind", "enter the heart", "nature of life", "happiness > god", "shayad bhool gaye" and "of unsaid farewells". It is a reflective record about asking questions, with titles in English and Hindi such as "shayad bhool gaye". Start with: "why?", then "shayad bhool gaye".
